Shari Lane

Office Administrator and Paralegal

Shown here with our office mascot, Rhett, Shari is a graduate of the University of Oregon Honors College (BA in Comparative Literature, Summa Cum Laude), University of Washington (MA in Classics), and the Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College (JD). Shari was an employment law attorney for nearly eighteen years before setting aside the active practice of law to pursue new adventures, including moving to Lopez Island. When not managing the office, Shari will usually be found wherever there are dogs, children, or both. Shari is a trustee at the library, host of a local writers’ open mic, published author, and proud grandmother.
